Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because professor Osborne is very fair, but she doesn't just hand you the information, you need to work for it.

    Course highlights:

This semester we have to do a lot of practicing in the nursing lab, and that means collaborating with other students. This led to studying in groups, and because of this semester i still study in groups.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Know your pathophysiology, it will make this semester go by a lot smoother for you. If you don't remember it, brush up starting right now.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course allows the student to take theory that is explained in class and apply it in the field of nursing. Having the ability to practice what you learn in class greatly reinforces the teachings and also allows for the student to have a thorough understanding of the material and the nursing process.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course was the lab component. Having lab allowed for the students to practice procedures regularly until proficient. This allowed for the student to have the knowledge and confidence required when preforming the procedure in the field on the patient for the first time.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed you must study a little bit each day. The material is not easy, but it is the base of nursing so you must have an understanding of it. Fundamentals of nursing is an extremely important and essential component of your nursing education that you will continuously be returning to. Use your clinical time wisely and do thorough physical assessments on every patient. You will learn so much in this course I highly recommend it!
