    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

"There are lies, [danged] lies, and statistics," as Mark Twain said. Therefore, having a good knowledge of the means by which people will lie to you is extremely valuable. This class is great for acquiring such knowledge. Next time someone throws you a statistic, you will be asking yourself, "What's the sample size? Are there any lurking valuables? What's their margin of error?" This will allow you to quickly tell facts from falsities, which, especially in this day and age, will serve you well.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course for me was how it built on itself. You would learn about one thing, and that would transfer to another. But, other than that, it is hard to choose a specific highlight seeing as though the whole class was a highlight for me. Sorry for being vague, but I highly recommend the course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it. I'd say it's an easy A, but I enjoy math. Requires a very basic knowledge of algebra, but nothing you didn't learn early in high school.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Wells was an exemplary teacher for statistics. She took extra time to explore concepts when she saw the class struggling to make sure that no one was left in the dark. She does an excellent job of relating course material to real life application.

    Course highlights:

This class, and the way Professor Wells taught it, has helped me with understanding statistical data in scholarly journals when doing research for projects and papers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're struggling with a concept discuss it with Professor Wells right away, she will make time for you to be sure you master it.
