    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Law is something everyone should have a background in. This course introduced me to a whole other side of civic participation, the fundamentals of justice, and how reason can be an occupation. Law is not a boring topic, its highly intellectual. It relies as much on conviction as procedure.

    Course highlights:

Again, I liked learning how law effects us. One civics lesson I explained jury duty. If you read the US constitution it talks a lot about citizen involvement. There is a lot of language about 'regulated civilian militias' and the like. The government was intended to facilitate citizen self rule. The balance of power which distinguishes the judicial branch, is the most involved we can really get. Instead of the government deciding guilt and innocence, it is always the people of the united states who get to decide.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Get the textbook and buy yourself some colored pencils. Law text can get a little dry at times! The chapters will be very interesting if your stick with them, but annotating with lots of colors will definitely help you when it comes time for review.
