    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is knowledgeable but lacks clear understanding on how to effectively teach the subject. There is a mass quanity of material that is rushed through and the tests given often difficult to comprehend due to language barrier.

    Course highlights:

Basics of the physiology that is very useful in future courses was self taught and most general knowledge was practical experience as I work in the medical field.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You really need to read and intrpret for your self and try to understand. Khan academy is a great resource

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Finn is a great teacher who cares about her students learning and fully understanding the information that is taught. I would recommend forming a study group with fellow classmates so that difficult topics can be discussed and figured out as a group for further success for all. Utilize office hours or any extra time after class to ask the professor your questions about topics that you don't understand. Also, utilize online resources like YouTube videos and virtual labs to supplement your learning.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed performing the labs for the class because they took all of the information we had learned in lecture and made it real for me. I liked the hands-on approach to the class and exploring how the different aspects of the body worked together so intricately.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Don't let yourself get behind on the homework and labs- actually try to get ahead on your work as much as possible as there was a lot of smaller lab reports and online homework assignments involved. Utilize as many study resources as possible so that you can be sure to be ready when the exams come around.
