Pretty easy, overall.
Course Overview:
The math is really simple. The textbook was easy to follow, as well.
Course highlights:
My teacher was pretty cool. He didn't over-complicate the material.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Just memorize the formulas. A lot of the work is based off of the information that is given to you. But don't be afraid to ask for clarity if you're tripping over some details.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
I have always thought that math wasn't my strongsuit, but this course is more logic than actual math. This course is a good one to take to fulfill any math requirements your degree may have, but do be warned that while the math may not be difficult, the concepts are.
Course highlights:
The highlights of this course were learning how to survey. I learned a lot about how to conduct surveys and minimize bias.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Save every single paper that is given to you, record the lecture, and write down absolutely everything. This professor does not waste his words and everything he says is essential to the test.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
Mrs. Rosero turned a pretty boring subject into something I could actually understand. Every day the homework was class group work after the lesson, and she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Every Friday was awesome because she called it Cookie Friday and brought cookies in, so that was a perk. As a student athlete, she was very understanding and forgiving when I couldn't make it to class some days because I had to catch a bus for a game. She worked with me during her office hours and was an all around amazing teacher!
Course highlights:
I don't really know what else to say besides the info above. But she definitely got me through that class even though I missed like seven class days. I had the class Monday/Wednesday/Friday for an hour.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Make sure you get all the homework done in class, and if you have questions, ask! She is extremely approachable and won't have a problem straightening you out. And let's face it, nobody understands it either, so you're also helping out your classmates as well!
