    Pretty easy, overall.

It's a great start as a freshman to be prepared for bigger and better things in your future college experience.

    Course highlights:

I learned correct grammar and I became a better writer.

    Advice for students:

As long as you hand in all the homeworks and essays on time, you'll be fine.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a required course. However I wouldn't recommend taking professor Jason. She's not very accommodating to international students and makes all her essays about US immigration laws and presidencies. She's also not very organized and often grades unfairly.

    Course highlights:

Learning to write research papers and MLA format

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you have the time for this course and always proof read your work.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class taught me things I didn't know about the English writing. Techniques that I believe everyone should know, no matter what profession they decide to going into. Learning to articulate your opinions on paper is a major key to have a successful career.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the different techniques my professor used to teach us. Very rarely were we subjected to a long speech or a boring class. Working in groups and watching videos on the topic was a great way in helping us learn.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Students taking this advice should be prepared to write a lot. From long essays to short responses, this class requires a lot of your writing skills. Do not slack on homework assignments or in class assignements, and make sure to hand in all your assignments on time.
