They do seem to take safety seriously and most nights are well lit and give me a feeling of security. That being said, it's still difficult to get the kids to take it seriously sometimes.Living in Smith is nice because you are surrounded by honors students.
faculty that seem like they genuinely care about making the dorm a good place to live. On the other hand, it's a bit of a walk to get to any classes, which can be a hassle.I'm not involved in Greek life but from what I've seen, they seem interesting and interested in acquiring new members for a variety of focuses.

I'm not very involved in the athletics but they definitely like to promote the varsity games. It's an important part of the campus entertainment.So far the school has done a good job with welcoming it's students. It's been warm and tries to include the students, even in the big lecture halls. That being said, it can sometimes be difficult to connect with faculty.
