Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Very Diverse – At CU I notice much acceptance of everyone. All throughout the year there are activities to promote such a concept and they seem to be fun if you want to get involved. Boulder itself is a very diverse community and the University shows similar attributes.

    Course highlights:

No Snow Days – Colorado weather is generally pretty nice, but we'll get a couple of large snowstorms throughout the winter. Be prepared to hike through the snow, though, because classes are hardly ever canceled, unless a professor specifically cancels a class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I absolutely love the computers housed in the Chemical Engineering wing of the Engineering Center. They are efficient and have extremely useful software that my own computer cannot run. However, printing can become expensive, especially when mathematics labs run upwards of twenty pages.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Our gym is pretty darn good compared to other schools. We've got a swimming pool, diving board, racket ball court, machines, tracks and all kinds of crazy stuff! I love the gym and I go there everyday lifting, oh and the girls, they're good, too.

    Course highlights:

Nice at the Beginning and End – Don't be fooled by the high altitude: beginning of the school year in August is insanely hot and if you don't have AC in your dorm, life sucks.B for Boulder – I like Boulder quite a lot. It's very beautiful and if you love the outdoors.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

After that, fall is beautiful but only lasts a couple of weeks before you freeze to death. Luckily there are some nice days and lots of sunny days to break up the winter cold, but walking to class in snow isn't as fun as you might think.
