    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course not only covers the way society perceives sexuality and gender over time, but it also touches on the subject of the social atmosphere in which we've grown so used to. It exemplifies how social factors influence nearly everything and everyone from the time they enter this would to the time they depart it.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights of this course is the sexuality and masculinity subjects. I learned that there are numerous names and terms for transsexual persons and that theres a long history behind the up-coming of the terms in society nowadays. I also learned of masculinity and how it has become a socialized norm for men to be violent. In short men are taught from a young age to maintain their masculinity, whether it be by asserting their control over woman or getting personally involved in manly activities such as masculine sports or video games with violent contents.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course! You will learn so many interesting things about different types of sexualities and also the history behind why we do what we do. It's interesting to learn about the typical actions of females and males and the reasoning, or supposed stereotypical reasoning, behind such behaviors.
