Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is straightforward in its teachings, doesn't shower students with unnecessary assessments, and ties class material to relevant goings-on in the world.

    Course highlights:

Taking this course gave me a solid foundation in sociological concepts, and helped me to better understand the system of privilege and oppression that exists in the United States (and around the world). I also learned a great deal about the college admissions process, which is especially intriguing after having just gone through that experience. In a sense, it's reminiscent of The Wizard of Oz-- you go on a quest to appease this great, powerful entity, only to reveal the man behind the curtain.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the weekly current events assignment. Seriously.
