    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Tracy is an outstanding resource for your college experience. He is one of the kindest professors in the Economics department, and he is always open to meeting with you and discussing all aspects of economics/life. He is a bit challenging to follow in class, but if you make sure to ask questions, he will provide all the clarification you need.

    Course highlights:

The ability to use Stata is crucial for a career in Economics. You learn statistical programming as well as the proofs behind econometrics. You will leave the course understanding why things are the way they are, rather than simply knowing what tools you can use. It's the difference between knowing how to build a car and simply driving a car.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study every week. Study his former tests like they're your Bible. Those things are your life. I spent 10 hours a day for three days in the library for the three days before each of his tests.
