Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a core course for MCC, so it's just something that you have to take. It isn't the greatest, but towards the end when we started talking about the internet, undersea cables, and modern media things picked up (at least in my opinion). I thought the discussion of the telegraph early on was too tedious.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about media. The course gave me a better feel for all the different types of media out there and the sheer number of things to study in relation to media.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

See Prof. Gitelman at her office hours! Go to her with questions and she will answer. She's great, and it seemed that too many were intimidated by her (not sure why). Her office would be empty of students when I went, so I always got good attention and good answers from her.
