Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although this is a rigorous course, Professor Guruianu really cares about his students and tries hard to make class fun and enjoyable. Additionally, everything we learn in his class is applicable for life in general. The homework is very time consuming but it is well worth is as you learn to think more critically. Professor Guruianu is kind, passionate, inspirational, intelligent, and hilarious.

    Course highlights:

Professor Guruianu has taught me how to be a more intelligent and effective research consumer in everyday life. A highlight of this course includes learning how to be more of a critical thinker. He encourages his students to always ask questions, consider alternative explanations, and critiquing owns own as well as others conclusions based on a certain topic. This course helped me realize the importance of becoming increasingly familiar with a particular topic to engage in meaningful conversation with others.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the assignments. Professor Guruianu is super helpful when you ask for help. He is a critical grader but he tells you exactly what to expect and what he expects from you so there is no surprise.
