    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Would not recommend this course if you have no interest in Chinese ancient history and poetry. The professor often seems like he doesn't know what he's talking about, and lecture is a snooze fest. Very heavy readings every week. Grading was almost entirely based on a midterm and final paper.

    Course highlights:

I thought my TA was a joy to work with because I could tell he really cared about our learning experience, and was also very knowledgeable. I would say I learned more from my TA than from the professor.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are taking this course to fulfill your cultures and contexts requirement, I would suggest considering other cc courses first to see what the class is like.
