Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
Professor Diagana tries to be very clear and informative. He will tell students explicitly if a math problem he is going over will be beneficial to study for an upcoming exam. Attending all of the lectures is recommended because he does explain past or future homework problems and quiz problems to the class.
Course highlights:
Highlights of the class include solving basic functions, inequalities, exponential and logarithmic equations. We spent a lot of time graphing and doing transformations. We didn't use calculators at all throughout the semester, all lessons were taught using methods without the need of a calculator.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Attend all lectures, and recitations. Quizzes and homework assignments are due during recitation. Sit in the front of the class because Professor Diagana writes small. Be patient with the professor, he seems loopy at times and disrespectful, but keep in mind you're taking the class to get the A and move on- if you're respectful and considerate of his time and guidance then he will definitely do what he can to help you in return.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
The professor was okay but he did not teach the course in a way that I understood it, and so I found lectures unhelpful
Course highlights:
I did not learn anything I did not already know, I just learned new ways to do it
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Go to office hours, this was my biggest mistake
