    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend if you want to learn practical skills for marketing. If you are a marketing major this is the intro class to take. But just know you will be working more than you would in a different intro class. Its extensive and there are many assignments and tests.

    Course highlights:

I learned that marketing is not just advertising. There is math involved and you have to memorize many formulas which is unexpected.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook and set up weekly meetings with your group. If you get a group that you do not jive with just drop the class. Honestly from the tags they give me to choose from it is all of them thats how much work and how extensive this class is.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was incredibly insightful into the daily life of marketers and the general industry of marketing. Although it was an introductory class, it still provided a lot of information on certain topics.

    Course highlights:

I leant about past marketing cases and how to think twice when looking at an advertisement and things of the such. It allowed me to open my mind and think critically when it comes to marketing certain products and what niche is targeted.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Think outside the box and use your own personal experience to analyze certain advertisements and see which groups are targeted for selling products. It simpler than it looks.
