Pretty easy, overall.
I loved taking this class because it was one of the few intro classes that was not heavily focused on tangible media, instead focusing on media's effects and how communication has shaped different populations. It's a shame that it is now an elective and no longer required for all MCC majors to take, but I highly recommend because everyone could benefit from a class that focuses on a diverse range of topics that help you understand the influences behind communication and how it varies by demographics.
The projects that we worked on were entertaining and the readings were engaging. This was one of the few classes where I actually kept some of the readings because I thought they would be interesting to come back to another time. Taking this class helped shape the trajectory I wanted my undergraduate career to take.

Advice for students:
Talk to the professor! I know that there are multiple professors for this course, but I had a lovely one and I wish I took the time to get to know him.
