    This course was a fascinating in-depth look at children's literature. It is a great course for new teachers or those looking to

    Course highlights:

    This course helped me analyze various children's stories from "The Giving Tree" to "Where the Wild Things Are" I got an in-depth look at the literature and how it impacts childhood development. The course was split up into 2 sections--In the first half of the class, we looked at the literature and read all types of children's books. In the second half, we dove into children's development and studied the important milestones of their growth.

    Advice for students:

    Make sure to do all the reading, study the PowerPoints, and enjoy learning as much as you can.
