It's a requirement for econ majors so I wouldn't take it if I didn't have to. It is pretty interesting. You don't learn much and mostly tested on straight up memorization so
Only learned about actual banking in the second half of the semester. the course itself is pretty interesting and I felt like I learned a lot about the history of money not just how the current money banking system works. The highlight of this course is that if you memorize the exam questions on the midterms, you'll get a 100 basically on the final because the final is just past midterm questions.

Advice for students:
use flashcards to memorize years of events, there are a lot of years and dates to remember. The slides don't contain that much information so it's important to read the textbook. Most of the exam is straight up memorization so don't focus too much on trying to understand the concept.
