Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Human Society and Culture opened my eyes to many different aspects of our society that I had never realized before. From topics regarding to gender to race to globalizations, as a class we examined all angles of each topic, and how different cultures view these social constructs.

    Course highlights:

Highlights included the semester long ethnographic field work we had to do. As someone who is not very comfortable with stepping out of my bubble, this was a touch project for me at first since I had to interview complete strangers, and ask them to help me with a project. Also, as the course went along, and new subjects were introduced, I found it so rewarding to be able to apply what we had learn into my field work study.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go into this class with an open mind. Don't shoot down the ideas that are presented to you, but still remember to have your own opinion.
