Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was one of my favorite classes I have ever taken at NYU. In this course, you are in control and get to decide how to carry out your experiment. Of course, the TA's and Prof. Hennsler are extremely helpful in teaching you.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot from this course, like how to extract or separate components from a solution, how to dry organic solutions with anhydrous sodium sulfate (which is something you will be doing a lot), how to synthesize organic molecules, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always come prepared and read all notes beforehand. This course is not as tough as everyone makes it out to be, but you definitely need to be prepared. Don't be nervous either, there is no reason to be.
