    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Interesting readings, large lecture hall. Professor Shanker has a good relationship with TAs who in turn are extremely helpful and available.

    Course highlights:

    The FARC wars in Colombia, Russian modern history and economics, and a brief overview of the Taiwan/China conflict

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Befriend the TAs. They will go over the homework with you step by step if they have to, jut to make sure you understand the concepts.

    Course Overview:

    The professor was so friendly and nice and the course was easy. TA was awful though; make sure you get a good TA!

    Course highlights:

    I learned the basics of politics because it was my first class I've ever taken.

    Course Overview:

    Gives a great overall picture of domestic and international politics at large and insight into the inter-workings of our world's government.

    Course highlights:

    Highlights include learning the motives of politicians during the election process and the reasons why countries and governments do what they do.

    6-8 hours

    Read the chapters to learn how you should go about your thought processes in answering questions and understanding the course material.
