Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This course is a requirement for the CAS Core which means a lot of students come into it not expecting to put much in or get much out of it, and are simply there to be able to check the class off for graduation. I was one of them at first but have to say that this turned out to be one of my favorite classes. Neuroscience itself is a fascinating field very useful to know at least this much about. If you open yourself up to the class, there's a lot to gain. Just make sure you don't get caught up in the initial nonchalance because for some, it lasts an entire semester and that's no fun for any of us.
There's a lot of information presented, but it never feels overwhelming as the Professor and TA's are understanding of the fact that this is an introductory class and are very helpful and thorough in focusing in on the key points to help guide you along. Main ideas are further discussed and explored in labs, and all in all, the course plan is effective in really drilling in the material.

Advice for students:
There is a good amount of reading required, but it's not too difficult or unreasonable. Do the reading in time or in advance and you'll be good to go.
