Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend Marion for she offers a very interesting course that helps put together culture from the late 1700s onwards to today in an insightful and meaningful way. There is a good amount of work that is necessary to prepare for class on Monday but if you put in the work at the beginning of the week it makes the rest of the week lighter since you are done with homework for that class for the week.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course was getting a knowledgeable teacher who was highly prepared for class and helped us create new meaning to add to our historical knowledge of the period.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are willing to put in the time and work this class is very worthwhile.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Jessamyn is great at cultivating class discussions and no answer is ever wrong. Her class is super interesting and eye-opening. All of the discussed material has related to modern-society as a whole.

    Course highlights:

Aside from the course material, I learned about the various ways to identify personhood and society, as well as how much influence society has on everyday life. The class was extremely relatable.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to engage with the material and participate in class discussions

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

She is the most understanding, interesting professor I've met so far. She is certainly very knowledgeable and passionate but absolutely humble as well. For people who want more interactions with a professor, she is someone who is agreeable enough to talk to without feeling too much pressure.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the world through the eyes of East Asian playwrights, English 15th century novelists, and modern American poets. There is such variety in cultural contexts that it becomes second nature to try to adapt to diverse opinions. And for musical fanatics, there is some opera and singing context that can be applied too.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Post forums. Ask her for advice on essay topics. Do not be afraid to participate in class.
