Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a good class. With a lot of essays obviously, it's a writing course. It gives you hacks to be a better writer and also on how to do better research and what sources are good and which ones are fake

    Course highlights:

I learned the composition of a good essay and things I need to avoid to have a better essay. I learned to organize and essay using different types of outlines.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Start you essay in time and don't be discouraged if what you write at first is not as good as it could. Rewrite it as many times as you need until you feel comfortable with it.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was a really enjoyable course where we learned how to apply critical thinking, rhetoric and how to write a quality paper. I realized in this class how much I enjoy writing. We were required to read and write about some classical work as well as some more contemporary essays, tying it all together in the end. While Prof. Podolny makes himself very available, and is very helpful, this is a class that you get out what you put in. Loved it!

    Course highlights:

I got my money's worth from this class, being guided through the process of dissecting several pieces of work, drawing comparison, and writing thorough, well-rounded, thoughtful analyses.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Interact and participate. It will make for a richer experience. May as well get the most of something that you're investing your time and money into.
