Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course, especially in a society as diverse as ours. In this class, you will learn about how race, class, and gender affect many aspects of people’s everyday lives.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part about this class was that the professor related all the information we learned back to the community where we attend school. This allowed us to really visualize.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to really get to know Professor Werner. She is a great teacher who is willing to talk about anything, anytime.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

He's a great teacher, funny guy, and an easy grader.

    Course highlights:

Conversations that made you think, reading in front of the class, and some of the movies we watched.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good notes in class or else you will be lost for the tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is very fair. There is one final at the end of the semester. There are three essays where the lowest grade is dropped. If you do the assigned readings, the essays will be a breeze. The professor is very knowledgeable in the subject and knows what she is talking about.

    Course highlights:

By the end of the class, you will have gained an entirely new thought process on the way you view society. I learned to make the familiar strange, and question everything. What I learned in this class will stick with me in everything I do throughout my life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this course if you have no intentions of doing the readings. If you participate in class you will learn more, and the professor encourages it.
