    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course provides a curriculum that further pursues accounting information, but on a deeper level. It is challenging because it is advanced, however, it provides each student with very advanced skills in being an accountant.

    Course highlights:

The biggest highlight that I found to be important was learning about leases. This is something that has recently changed in the accounting world and learning about this as a young college student can be very useful coming into the working world.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study enough for the quizzes each week to get good grades on them. They are the basis for the exams and if you do well on the quizzes, it will be similar info on the exams.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Chan pushes you to do your very best in class and to study your accounting principles. Without this knowledge, you'll never truly understand accounting.

    Course highlights:

I learned all the intermediate accounting principals and rules. You have to study extremely hard for the quizzes and tests, but it is very rewarding in the end to see your high grade in intermediate accounting.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard! Never slack off and listen to everything that is being said. Dr. Chan wants you to succeed, but you must do a lot of learning on your own.
