Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course with this professor because he understands how to make the course interesting for all of the students in the class. Every morning at the start of class he brings up a relevant story that he found in a newspaper that morning that will assist him in teaching the day's lesson.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course has to be the jokes that Professor Colella made every class, he understands that the topics discussed may be "dry" and many students will not pay attention to just lecturing. Before this class I had a brief understanding of the legal system and all of its components, but with this class I am now more able to understand why many things in our legal system are the way that they are.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students considering this course to make sure that they go to every class, if you miss any classes you will be behind and the professor is rather strict with his attendance policy. But besides that there really isn't much else except the basic do your homework, take notes, and study, the exams are verbatim the homework assignments and notes.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Girasa will give you more information and stories about law than any other professor. Make sure to read the objectives in the textbook before going over each chapter in class. Also, some of the case briefs are lengthy but they will help you apply the concepts in the chapter to real life cases.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were definitely doing the case briefs and learning how all the concepts in the book can be applied to real life situations. This course also can help someone know specifically what their rights are and how to defend them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There are a lot of concepts to learn, so make sure you study them a lot and make sure you plan ahead when studying. Don't procrastinate because there are a lot of concepts to study. Like I said before, make sure you go over the course objectives in the beginning of each chapter. Most of the test questions will be taken straight from the book.
