    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is just a basic chemistry course. It is very similar to regents chemistry.

    Course highlights:

I learned about periodic trends, enthalpy, chemical equations and structures of compounds.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have a question email the teacher and talk with him. This course has a lot of students so it is easy to get lost when in class. The teacher is more than willing to set up time outside of class to help you succeed.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Consistent and predictable workload, mix of hard, easy, and moderate examples, thorough explanations. Do not take this course if you haven't already taken Chemistry in Highschool. The workload is heavy, but the online homework is reasonably easy, just tedious.

    Course highlights:

Hardest part of the course was molecular geometry. Flashcards are really important.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

FLASHCARDS ARE GREAT. If you take notes, you'll find most everything you need to study is already in them. Weekly quizzes were given out at recitation and submitted online over the weekend. I didn't love the weekend tests but they weren't awful, you just have to stay on top of the work.
