    Course highlights:

    Learned how to give speeches. Informative, impromptu, persuasive and small group discussions

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Don't procrastinate on your speeches, get started right away when they are assigned and give it time to absorb so you can critique it. The less you procrastinate the better you will do in this course.

    Course Overview:

    The professor was great because she really helped me understand how to speak effectively. She didn't make it stressful and was very helpful when I asked her questions in person or through email.

    Course highlights:

    I really enjoyed the demonstration speech we had to give. It was interesting to see all the different topics chosen by my classmates. I learned so much and have overcome my initial fear of public speaking.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Follow the professors directions exactly. Most importantly, PRACTICE. The more you practice your speeches, the more comfortable you will be and thus the better your grade.

    Building the confidence to speak to others is a great way to break out of your shell. If you struggle with speaking to others or have social anxiety, this class will help you to conquer it.

    Course highlights:

    There are many ways to giving a speech. Depicting the best way to give a speech is the hardest choice.

    Don't quit. Stand tall and practice your speech taking
