Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is great! He makes history exciting and interesting. He knows that the coursework is a lot and he tries to make it as informative as possible. It is not like a high school class, he tells you a lot of hidden information that was not taught on a high school level and makes you involved in the discussion.

    Course highlights:

I learned much more about events in history that my high school teachers only told us the basics on. He goes into great detail about not only what is going on in the U.S. during each time period but also goes into detail about what is also happening in other countries at the same time. He tries to paint a broader and more detailed picture for all of his students to understand.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the books given ahead of time if you can that way it isn't taking up as much time during the course. The reading can be extremely boring and difficult to get through, therefore if you read it ahead of time it wont bog you down during the course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course due to the fact that I learned a lot and I enjoyed being there. The professor was passionate about teaching which is always a plus for me. She also has an excellent handle on the subject and explains things well.

    Course highlights:

I learned that there are multiple ways to look at a specific event, like looking at history through a non-Eurocentric lens. I learned that one should always be open to more knowledge or else it can hold them back.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

She usually put the slides online, they are there for a reason...USE THEM. Take notes during class even though the slides are online, sometimes the verbal explanations are better than what is on the slides. Don't be afraid to ask questions during lectures.
