Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because it gave me a peek at what psychology is all about. The professor was very honest about the different facets of psychology and offered a great view on the subject itself because he is a psychology student himself.

    Course highlights:

We learned about the basics of serveral different subjects in psychology including but not limited to: emotions, research methods, biological psychology, sensation and perception, learning, human development, thinking, reasoning, language and memory.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would highly advise taking this course. It was very interesting to learn about the basics of psychology, and it made me further appreciate the elements psychology offers to the world. The work load is not very heavy, so make sure to do your assignments when they are given to you.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was one that definitely one that I was not looking forward to. I found myself going into this class with a negative mindset but after the first lecture with my professor Dave, I completely changed and was very intrigued with the principals of psychology. It also helped that Dave is definitely a professor I won't forget. He cares about each and every student and learned everyone's name despite the 50 or so kids in our class room every Tuesday and Thursday. This class was definitely enjoyable and Dave made hard concepts easy to understand.

    Course highlights:

This course was only a brief overview of some of the key areas of psychology however, I did find myself leaving the course with a lot of confidence on human psych. Something that really stuck for me was our last unit on "Psychological Disorders". It was what Dave called the "dark side" of psychology and he wasn't wrong. It was interesting learning about mental illnesses and the stigmas that surround them not only today but the stigmas that surrounded them in the late 1900's. It opened my eyes up to mental illness and how different medicine is today then it was before.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The key to succeed in any class is the pure want to succeed however,

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He is a very open-minded teacher, & let's people speak their minds without judgement. He understands how bogged down we are with other classes as well as his. We have a lot of work to do, & he tries to make it easier for us. Definitely makes you think in different ways!

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about myself, as well as other people. The amount of topics we cover he makes easy to grasp.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just show up to class, pay attention, & you will learn all you need to know.
