Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Hinton was very active in the student learning process. Her ability to convey any particular business law policy or rule, in a manner where the student was able to fully understand it's practical legal civil or criminal use for a given situation was very essential

    Course highlights:

A wide array of modern up-to date business laws. We also learned the best environments and situations where certain laws and rules applied where similarly written or antiquated laws would not benefit a particular issue.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study the laws thoroughly. Ask questions that may seem vague based on the written law or rule provided in the text.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Legal Environment of Business is a great start for undergraduate students to get a feel for the law. It provides an understanding for how business and the legal environment intersect in the United States. This course gave me my first real feel for business law and helped to shape the direction I chose to do later in my formal education. I would recommend the course for the aforementioned reasons.

    Course highlights:

I leaned how to identify legal issues that arise from business transactions everyday. In addition, I learned how discern which rules or laws were applicable in each case. Further, the course taught me to analyze the case facts and how to apply the law in order to draw conclusions. As the course offered more, these were the highlights for me in the course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This course requires that you do the assigned readings in order to have healthy discussion and timely completion of other assignments in course. My advice would be to complete the reading assignments as early as possible to stay ahead in the course and ask plenty of questions if you need understanding the material
