Great Intro to the Subject
Pretty easy, overall.
I would recommend this class to anyone. I've never had the opportunity to take an anthropology class before, so I had no idea what to expect when I registered to take this class in the spring. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the class and I was able to understand everything that was going on. She offers plenty of extra credit if you can't seem to get the material, so it's definitely a class worth taking.
I thought that the midterm paper was one of my favorite things in the course. Yes, it was a lot of work, but thinking about it helped me on some of the tests, and I got introduced to a topic that I hadn't known much about before I started the research. This class also gave me an insight into the world that we live in and how we see the world around us. It taught me that how we see the world is just based on what we were raised to believe, and that just because someone else has a different way of life, that doesn't mean that they're wrong and we're right, it just means that we're different.

Advice for students:
I made flash cards of all of the key terms from the book and of all of the anthropologists (including the works they wrote, when they wrote them, and what they were about), and I did well on all of the tests and got an A overall in the class.
