Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This course is immensely eye opening, it challenges students to view a global world and explore the lives of people that on the other side of the world. I feel this is an important college experience for students who often times struggle to escape the bubble of privilege that most reside in.
Course highlights included the films that were shown as a tasteful addition to the notes, an illustration of the concepts previously discussed. They played a big part in brining the discussion and notes to life. I learned a lot about life in an undeveloped country and the role we as Americans and participants in the global economy contribute to exploitation of struggling countries.

Advice for students:
Do the readings and TAKE NOTES ON THE READINGS AS YOU GO! They will be an important aspect of the review sheets that layout the exam. In addition, focus less on copying word for word the notes, rather focus on understanding the conversation and notes.
