    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because Dr. Tice is interested in what she teaches and has a profession direct related to it. This course is very detailed orientated so you cannot skip class! This course was focused on the learning the functions of body parts as wel (we studied human functions as well as lab cats and lab rats).

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is finding out why your body does what it does, and what you can do to stay healthy and know when something is wrong. There are a lot of "Oh wow! I never knew that!" responses in this course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    - DO NOT SKIP CLASS!! -Have an effective way to study notes. -Short 'word and definition' notes are easier to remember than long copious notes. -As soon as you have question, ask while the slide is still up! Others may have the same question. -Study in groups! -Get tutoring even if you think you wont need it! -You can pass even if you don't favor science! Think of the course as you learning about your own body!
