    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you are a student who is interested in the field of English, and is confident in their writing. This is a pretty advanced course in terms of writing assignments and essays, but it really does help to improve your writing and makes sure you can follow very specific requirements from the professor. In addition, the professor is very passionate about the course, which makes it a lot more interesting for students.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the subject matter that was taught; professors get to choose beforehand what they want the course to be based off of. This semester, it was on human-animal studies. Originally, it was not something that I thought I would be too interested in, but it came with many surprises along the way, and I learned a lot things that I didn't think I would have. I learned about the intimate nature of the relationship between both species, and about the mental framework of both humans and animals.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The professor gives very specific instructions on completing essay assignments, so make sure you pay close attention to what is being asked. You need to have some skill in writing, so if it is something you consider yourself to be good at, this course will not prove as much of a challenge for you in that area.
