Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course has definitely helped me understand the human impact on our environment. Physical Geography was not just about geography but our affect on our environment and the what we can do to be a part of the solution. Also my professor expresses enjoyment when she teaches so it helped me enjoy my class, and there has been no moment of boredom.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is in every class we had a place of the day. This place of the day was very interesting places and I was able to learn new facts about certain areas. Two weeks ago I was able to learn about Pantanal this region in South America and how it’s typically flooded. Everytime I go to class I am excited to learn about a new place that I most likely never heard of.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise students that take this class that after every lecture study their notes for 15 minutes after class. I say this because certain concepts are very easy to forget so sometimes you need a bit of extra time to remember. Also we had many map quizzes so be prepared to memorize lakes, seas and mountains.
