    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

While the content of the course was difficult, Dr. Dollinger is an excellent teacher who does a great job connecting the ideas all together. I struggled in the course but she was a helpful resource the entire time. If you have to take ochem at the U of A, try to do it with Dollinger.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot the second semester of ochem, and it gave me a really strong foundation for my upper level chemistry courses. I am taking a 400/500 organic chemistry course this semester and without Dollinger last semester I would be absolutely drowning.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study a lot and don't underestimate the tests! Get tutoring, make a study group, go to the study sessions offered by the school - whatever works for you, just don't fall behind in content or the tests will be really tough.
