Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Students were required to write weekly but it made me a better writer. Today, I have an internship where I write for Spoon University and believe that Comm 101 really helped me get to where I am today.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is being able to have group discussion in class. We also had meetings with our teacher assistants on Friday to help work on writing assignments which helped a lot.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to be a Communication major, this is the entry class. Kyle was very informative in the way he taught and made class enjoyable. I recommend this class to anyone interested in bettering themselves as a writer as well.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Tusing is extremely straight forward with his material, and the course is easy to follow. I learned so much from this course. It was my first class as a Communication minor and it furthered my interest in the subject more than I thought it could. Understanding how people exchange messages is extremely interesting and worth studying.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the accessibility of the information, the format of the class, and the passion Professor Tusing has for the subject. I learned all about how and why, as well as the where and when of communication. I learned all about the different types of communication, and when it is appropriate to use certain methods of communication. I was most interested in the nonverbal aspect of communication being a psychology major.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise you to attend the lectures because the content is reflected in the tests and if you attend the lectures you will have all of the information you need to pass the class.
