Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher did an excellent job of presenting the material and answering questions to clear up any confusion.

    Course highlights:

The course was more focused than previously on Spanish grammar and sentence construction.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I'd recommend heavily utilizing flash cards and talking with friends in the language in order to better understand the material.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I enjoyed taking Spanish 102, and despite some medical issues causing me to miss some classes, my teacher was understanding and helped me learn the language. I grew to really enjoy learning Spanish and the culture behind it. Although this class was a requirement for my major, it inspired me to continue on in my learning, and take up a minor in Spanish. This class is one of the foundation stepping stones to being able to study abroad with Spanish, an amazing opportunity I look forward to. Also, I made great friends in this class, friends who I believe will be therefor me for a lifetime. We helped each other study and learn the language, which helped me get through and learn better.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much in Spanish 102, gaining a further understanding of verbs and how their different tenses. By the end of the semester I was able to understand when someone speaks to me in Spanish, and was able to show what I learned through different presentations, and the projects expected.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class, I advise to show up to class and do all the homework. Although the homework may seem monotonous, it provides the practice needed to be able to learn the material. I also recommend forming study groups within the class, that way you do not feel lost and alone, and you can learn together. Also, another thing you can do to succeed is talk to your professor, go to their office hours, and, and ask about the concepts you are not certain about.
