Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is a two part class that really dives into the realm of engineering. In Engineering 102A your learn about a all the different disciplines, teachers, courses, and research that is available so that one can better narrow down their most interesting major. In Engineering 102B one learns how to work in a multidisciplinary team and the basic approach to every Engineering project .

    Course highlights:

The highlight was the Solar Oven Project. We built a oven out of cardboard and aluminum foil to cook a biscuit using the sun.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the work given and apply yourself to everything.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to any engineer who is unsure as to the type of engineering they want to pursue. In this class you learn about each track the U of A College of Engineer has to offer and what that type of engineering involves.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot in this class. It was a survey of the 14 different types of engineering at the U of A. We were told about projects and jobs for each type.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Actually take notes, because there is a real midterm based on the slideshows.
