    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is the second time I've taken the lecture for Organic Chemistry and McGrath is excellent! She explains things clearly, offers help as needed, and provides meaningful assignments and practice before exams.

    Course highlights:

I gained a much more thorough understanding of Organic Chemistry concepts. Things that were completely confusing or unclear last semester now make sense to me. If you have to take OChem at UofA, I highly recommend McGrath!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to read as much as possible, make time for study sessions and Organic Cafe, and do the practice tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

definitely take it with this professor he is the best one and really knows the material although his accent may be hard to understand. If you get at least a 50% in the class you get a C for your grade

    Course highlights:

The way he thought it was pretty easy Ochem 1 in my opinion is not that hard to grasp since a lot of it is broken down.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go over the practice tests and the ones he uploads online because the exam is the exact same online for every single one make sure you understand the concept when you learn it and not to fall behind this not a class that you went to study for the last minute

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is not very good at answering questions without making you feel bad for asking a question

    Course highlights:

I learned how to develop a lot of new ways to teach myself. Also, the class has a good number of preceptors that are very helpful

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you keep up with the work and do the problems in the book. Do problems everyday because you will learn something new with each problem you do.
