    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a very interesting course content wise, and the professor makes it worthwhile! He really wants you to understand the content being thought, because we all know chemistry isn't the easiest subject on the planet, so Dr. Zacher makes the content more clear just by his teaching skills alone. He really wants you to succeed in the course, and inevitably probably even make you love chemistry.

    Course highlights:

I learned effectively the mechanisms behind oxidation and reduction reactions (content wise), I learned how to manage my time with this course very well, and also developed leadership skills to assist students who were struggling in the course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY, FLASH CARDS, REVIEW THE BOOK, ONLINE HOMEWORK REVIEW, and ALWAYS GO TO LECTURE

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course material for this class is incredibly challenging, but Dr. Graham makes it much easier to learn. She breaks it up into easily digestible information and is very willing to work with her students to help them learn.

    Course highlights:

I learned many of the basics of math including thermodynamics, kinetics, and electrochemisty. This course was incredibly math heavy, but thankfully it was mostly basic algebra.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the material as it is taught. Stay up to date on the material, and if there is something that you do not understand make sure to ask for help, otherwise you will fall behind.
