Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course in order not only to learn about things like pregnancy but also things like adolescent development and the interesting affect of steroids on the human body. Dr. Weinstein really tries to make the topic interesting by adding current events. These topics are important not only to future parents but also those interested in understanding the future of genetics and cloning.

    Course highlights:

I learned very much about the development process that males and women go through. There are interesting chemicals during fetal development that determine whether the offspring will develop into a male or female. Also the interesting effects of steroids on the body that have affects on the muscles but also adverse effects on other organs that are important to evaluate.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to make sure to review and pay attention to the objectives at the end of the lecture. Later in the semester, I realized that along with the slides open, if you do your notes on your laptop, its good to have a document open for the objectives of each lecture and fill them out during the lecture alongside. Dr. Weinstein goes over the objective points, sometimes word for word, and this is helpful in order to not forget the main point she wants you to remember for the exam.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was an entertaining class that taught me an abundance of useful information to prepare me for medical school.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the details of female and male reproductive systems along with many modern technology to assist in helping infertile couples. For instance, we learned about the details of the menstrual cycle, how ejaculation occurs, and how people can donate their sperm or eggs.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study each week to stay on top of all the information. It seems easy but there will be a lot of information to remember for the exams
