    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Overall, Chemistry 152 was a very difficult class. It goes over many topics in chemistry, both conceptual and mathematical. Exams were extremely difficult, but not impossible to pass if hard work and enough time is put in to prepare for them. Lab is a part of this course too, but it was fairly simple.

    Course highlights:

While the class itself was difficult, the topics and content taught were interesting. I grew to understand many of the general concepts and math based portions of the course. The highlights of this course was the lab. It was almost like a breather from the actual lecture and I ended up having an amazing lab TA. Not everyone's experience is going to be same of course, but I think everyone who took the class will agree that they enjoyed lab more than lecture.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Never skip any of the SI sessions and definitely not the TA led reviews for the exams. They always go over what will be on the exams for the most part. Never study last minute, as there is a lot of information you need to know and you will feel rushed. Start studying at least a week or two in advance. Go to office hours if you have any questions.
