    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is a three hour lab, and tends to drag on too long because the lab work itself is easy. It can be boring, but if you need the extra help, there is plenty of time to get it. If you take this class with the 181R class, it is easier to understand because they go over the same topics at the same pace. The lab goes a little more in depth, but not too much.

    Course highlights:

The best part about this lab was that it allows you to see how specific parts of DNA replication, and protein translation work and how errors in these processes can cause problems.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to the TA when they present and ask questions when you don't fully understand. Do the assigned lab reading because the quizzes are pulled straight from the lab manual.
