    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was really difficult for me. Our professor struggled to get his points across to us, and often gave us homework assignments on these subjects that the class did poorly on as a whole. I think the average score for our first exam was in the 60% range.

    Course highlights:

Even though the class is "American Economic History", it really focuses on the theories created by events in American history rather than making actual connections to the events. The concepts were really detailed and we struggled to understand them as a whole.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I think this is required for Econ majors, so good luck. I'm sure that there are other professors, but this class will be hard work either way. Make sure you go to class, do the readings before hand, and go to the office hours when you need help.
