    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Talanquer is an excellent professor. He attempts his best at making sure his students understand the material he is presenting. Chemistry's a tough subject, and he shows that he genuinely cares about the success of his students and tries his best at relaying his vast knowledge to his students.

    Course highlights:

I learned many things about this course, especially about how unpredictable metals can be. But the biggest things I learned were not to be overconfident in the tests and actually put in the work into the course. This was something I never needed to do in high school, but is now a must for me in college.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to be ready to study hard! Chemistry in college is nothing like high school chem. Be prepared for a hard but very rewarding class. Pay attention in classes, and put everything you've got into the course.
