Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This is an advanced course, even for heritage learners because it shows the students how to expand their vocabulary and their knowledge of formal language practices. You will learn how to speak, write, and engage in professional rhetoric with the use of elevated language, syntax, and cultural knowledge.
The topics that focused on culture were especially interesting because they opened up about racial profiling, learning styles for languages, and terms used to define hispanics or latinos and how they differ.

Advice for students:
If Spanish and the culture that revolves around the language interests you, I highly recommend this course because it will stretch your knowledge of every subject you know and wrap it around ideas and perspectives formed by discovering how a language defines the very people who speak it and, in turn, how they define the language.
